Calligraphy is a skill that lends itself to mindfulness - a way to relax and focus on the moment. And now you can learn the basics by signing up to attend ‘Calligraphy for Beginners’ at Oundle Library.

There will be six 2-hour sessions which will run on the last Saturday morning of each month, starting on 26 September and ending on 28 March 2020. The fee will be just £30, which includes refreshments. The sessions will be led by Liz Bierton, an enthusiastic and skilled calligrapher who will walk you through the basics, and provide you with good foundation skills so you can develop your own hand.

Booking will be essential as space is limited. For more information email Oundle Library at or speak to a member of staff when you next visit the library.
