If your children are getting excited about Christmas and the New Year why not channel their energy and creativity by bringing them along to some of Oundle Library's Christmas activities?

Saturday, 7 December
Storytelling with Catherine Campbell
Local children’s author Catherine Campbell will be at Oundle Library on Saturday, 7 December for two storytelling sessions. They are free to attend so just drop in either for the first session at 11.00am or the second at 11.45am.

Saturday, 21 December
Paper Christmas Wreaths
Who doesn’t love a Christmas wreath? On Saturday, 21 December there will be a Paper Wreath craft session from 10.30-11.30am which is sure to involve glue, paint and glitter. It’s free to attend but you must book ahead because space will be limited. Sign up at the library.

Lego Club
The library probably has enough Lego bricks to make a sleigh for Santa, and the Lego Club will be running as usual on Saturday, 21 December from 10am to 2pm. This is a free, drop-in session so just turn up and start building.

Monday, 23 December
Branching out at Barnwell Country Park
Oundle Library will be visiting Barnwell Country Park from 10am to 11.30am to run two free craft activities – Ice Princess Wands and Paper Plate Snowmen. The park is a great place to burn off some energy before the big day and the crafts will be an added bonus. They are free drop-in sessions so just come along.

Saturday, 28 December
Calendar Crafts
Just in time for 2020 there will be a Calendar Craft session for children at Oundle Library from 10.30-11.30am. Perhaps a bit less glitter at this session, but who knows? Space will be limited so you need to book although it’s free to attend. Sign up when you next visit the library.
